Bringing the Franklin's Home
As many of you may or may not be aware, my family had the tremendous loss of our daughter, sister, mother, auntie.
On June 16, 2021, Christine Marie Cuffee passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 42, due to complications with her newly diagnosed diabetes. She grew up on the Shinnecock Reservation located in Southampton, New York, with her parents, Eugene and Mabel Cuffee. In years to follow she welcomed five siblings into their growing family, then started a family of her own. When she made her departure to the starworld, she left behind four children.
When she moved away from Shinnecock, she left her house for her children to raise their babies in together. Since then they've had minor repairs done, just enough to make it livable. It's in dire need of renovations! To make it a home, they need: a new furnace, kitchen flooring and cabinets, appliances, rugs, paint and furniture.
We also want to take a moment to thank everyone for their support during these tragic and trying times our family has been faced with. We've witnessed a village come together and hold us up when it was needed the most. Now we're asking that you come together again, to give Christine's children a home that they can settle comfortably in.
